Terms & Conditions

These draft terms describe the current Ubhaar-Vyapaar prototype marketplace workflows. They are not final legal terms and require professional legal review before production use.

Prototype payment limitation

Ubhaar-Vyapaar currently uses demo and simulated milestone funding states only. The platform does not currently process real payments, does not charge payment cards or UPI, does not move money, and does not provide a real escrow account.

Demo funding and demo release states are workflow markers only and do not represent real money movement or regulated financial services.

Accounts and roles

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for providing accurate account information. Buyer accounts can browse, save listings, request quotes, accept quotations, manage demo orders, message manufacturers, and leave completed-order reviews.

Manufacturer accounts can create capacity listings, maintain business profiles, respond to quote requests, send quotations, manage demo order milestones, and message buyers.

Listings, quotations, and orders

Manufacturers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, prices, lead times, capacity statements, images, and quotations. Buyers are responsible for providing practical quote requirements and delivery information.

Accepting a quotation currently creates a demo order with locked terms and simulated milestones. It does not create platform-processed payment, escrow, shipping, tax, or regulated financial-service obligations.

Communication and reviews

Order messages and reviews should be accurate, lawful, and relevant to the marketplace workflow. Users should not post confidential, abusive, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content.

Prohibited conduct

  • Submitting false business, listing, quotation, or review information.
  • Requesting or sharing payment card, UPI, bank credential, or government ID information through the prototype.
  • Uploading unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or misleading content.
  • Attempting to access another user's account, order, messages, or notifications.
  • Using the platform to spam, harass, scrape, or disrupt service availability.

User-generated content and intellectual property

Users remain responsible for content they submit, including listing text, images, messages, quote requirements, and reviews. Users should submit only content they have the right to use.

Account suspension or termination

Administrative moderation and account handling policies require legal and business review. The current prototype includes role checks and verification status controls, but does not include a complete public suspension or appeals workflow.

Availability, liability, and disputes

The service may change, pause, or become unavailable as a prototype. Limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute-resolution, governing-law, and formal notice language must be drafted or approved by a qualified professional before production use.
